Alpine Awakening in Zermatt

In the early hours of a winter morning, as the village began to stir, I captured this serene snapshot in the shadow of the majestic Matterhorn. Its summit, kissed by the first golden rays of the sun, glowed like a beacon over the sleepy town of Zermatt, nestled at its base. The visage of the mountain, a commanding presence in the Swiss Alps, stood in stark contrast to the gentle meandering of the Matter Vispa river flowing through the valley.

The leafless trees, standing as silent observers, framed the scene on the left, their barren branches a testament to the season.
