About This PhotoThe Story Behind
Tuk-tuks are widely used transportation vehicles in Thailand. They are more economical than taxis, but you need to be lucky to negotiate with a tuk-tuk driver to get from one place to another. While most drivers do not speak English, those who do will not agree to take you at the normal rate. After a tough bargaining process, you can finally get on one, but luckily Thailand is a relatively cheap country compared to ours. When you realize that a long negotiation in terms of the Thai currency, Baht, actually amounts to 3-5 Turkish Liras, you understand that it's not worth the hassle.
