St. Stephen's Cathedral is located in the center of Vienna, built in 1147, and is considered the most important symbol of Vienna.
It is one of the main churches of the Vienna diocese. It is the residence of the Archbishop of Vienna, Christoph Schönborn. Austria is located in Stephansplatz in the heart of Vienna. Today, it is visible in both Roman and Gothic architectural styles. The church, which was extensively built by Duke IV. Rudolf of Austria, rises above the two previous ruined churches. As the most important religious building in the capital of Austria, it has witnessed many important events in the nation's history and has become one of the most recognized symbols of the city with its colorful roof.
