About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo during a trip to Thailand, specifically around the beautiful regions near Phuket. This small, charming island caught my eye immediately. It's such a peaceful scene with the lush greenery set against the clear waters. Using my Canon EOS 7D and the EF-S17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens, I managed to capture the distant, yet striking presence of this tiny landmass. Being there, it felt like a private slice of paradise.
In the background, you can see the typical rolling hills of the region, creating a beautiful layered effect that works well with the fluffy clouds scattered across the sky. Thailand is known for its many islands; each offering something unique. This one, while not famous, has its own quiet charm.
It was one of those moments where everything just came together—the weather was perfect, and the light was soft. The calm sea reflects the sky, bringing a sense of harmony to the image. I often try to capture places exactly as they are—moments that might otherwise be overlooked.
This image is part of my Phuket gallery, a collection dedicated to the natural beauty I experienced there. I hope it conveys the serenity and simple beauty I felt while on location. It's the little scenes like this that make me love photography.
