Baroque and Gothic towers

While exploring the enchanting city of Prague, I captured this aerial view from a vantage point that offered a stunning panorama of the city's historic architecture. The scene is dominated by a blend of Baroque and Gothic styles, showcasing the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site. On the left, the green dome of St. Nicholas Church in Malá Strana stands as a magnificent example of Baroque architecture, crafted by Christoph Dientzenhofer and his son, Kilian Ignaz. This church, completed in 1755, is adorned with intricate frescoes and opulent decor, representing the opulence of the era. To the right, another striking structure is the Church of Saint Salvator, part of the Clementinum complex, with its exquisite façade and twin towers, reflecting the rich heritage of Gothic revival architecture. These towers soar above the city's iconic red-roofed buildings that stretch into the misty distance, creating a picturesque skyline.
