About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I shot this photo during a trip to Amsterdam, a city where bikes are as common as people. This image captures a typical scene in the heart of the city. You’ll often see folks pedaling by effortlessly, just like this person in a bright red coat. The movement of the cyclist is a common sight here, and I love how it adds life to the otherwise still setting of the street. In the background, you can see a charming little café, typical of the cozy, historical architecture that Amsterdam is famous for. I used my Canon EOS 7D to snap this shot, which helped me get the vibrant colors and slight motion blur of the cyclist. Amsterdam is well-known for its network of canals and historic buildings, making it one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. The GPS coordinates 52.370255, 4.895850 put us right in the lively areas full of such charming views.
