About This PhotoThe Story Behind
This is a shot from my visit to James Bond Island in the Phang Nga Bay in Thailand. The island got its nickname after being featured in the James Bond movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun.' It's officially called Ko Tapu. I took this photo with my Canon EOS 7D and a wide-angle lens to capture the lush surroundings and the dramatic limestone formation in the middle. The island is located at GPS coordinates 8.274556, 98.500809, near a peaceful village called Krasom. The area is known for its towering cliffs and emerald waters, which create a really picturesque setting. The weather was a bit cloudy when I shot this, which added some nice contrast to the scene. It's a popular spot for tourists but somehow maintains a serene vibe. I spent some quiet moments here just taking in the view and appreciating the unique landscape. What really struck me was the contrast between the vibrant green of the trees and the calm, turquoise water. It’s a perfect place to reflect and relax.
