KievSTAR Aparments

I took this shot in Kyiv, right in front of the KievSTAR Apartments. You can see the grand architecture typical of many buildings in this city. The building stands tall and proud against a backdrop of clear sky. It's a striking example of the Stalinist style that was popular here. Below, there's a charming restaurant with bright red lights, adding a modern touch to the old stonework. I used my Canon EOS 7D for this shot, and I think the lighting worked out nicely to highlight the details without being too harsh. Kyiv in winter is quite a sight; there's always a layer of snow that makes everything feel cozy yet dramatic. This day was particularly chilly, but it was worth the effort to capture this scene. If you ever get a chance to visit Kyiv, take a moment to appreciate these buildings – they carry so much history.
