About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I shot this photo of the Tower of London during my trip to England. It's one of those places steeped in history. This fortress has been standing since the 11th century, built by William the Conqueror. I love visiting spots like this because they make you feel like you're stepping back in time. The weather was a bit dramatic, with clouds rolling in, but it added a nice mood to the scene. You can see the massive stone walls. The Canon EOS 7D really brought out the details in those old stones. Interestingly, the Tower has served various purposes over the years, not just a castle. It was also once a royal residence, a treasury, and even a prison. Pretty fascinating stuff! I find it interesting how the place looks both imposing and picturesque, a bit of a mix of old world fortress and charming architecture. During daytime, it's less crowded, allowing me to enjoy the location more peacefully and capture this shot.
