About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this shot at Surin Beach in Choeng Thale, Thailand. It's a peaceful spot with soft sand and clear blue waters. The beach isn't overcrowded, which makes it a great place to relax. In this photo, a lone surfboard rests on the sand, hinting at the fun and adventure that awaits in the waves. The light was great that day, highlighting the vibrant colors of the beach. I used my Canon EOS 7D with an EF-S17-55mm lens. The lens helped me capture the details in both the surfboard and the sky. Surin Beach is known for its incredible sunsets and is a favorite among locals. It’s a calm retreat, away from the more bustling beaches nearby. If you ever find yourself in Phuket, this beach is definitely worth a visit.
