About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this shot during a trip to Granada, Spain. The Alhambra stands out beautifully on the hill, surrounded by lush trees and overlooking the city. Being originally a small fortress in 889, it's amazing to see how it has expanded over time. I’ve always been fascinated by its Moorish architecture. The Canon EOS 60D with the EF24-105mm lens helped me capture the scene just as I saw it. The late afternoon light adds a warm glow to the ancient walls. You can almost feel the history embedded in those stones. Granada itself is such a vibrant place, where you can wander narrow streets and suddenly stumble upon a view like this. It's a unique blend of history and nature, with the Sierra Nevada mountains in the background completing the picture. I love how the rooftops in the foreground add a touch of local life to the scene.
