About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I took this photo while wandering through the Alhambra, one of Spain's most beautiful historical sites. Located in Granada, the Alhambra is a stunning example of Moorish architecture. What caught my eye here is the intricate detail and craftsmanship of the plasterwork. The way these patterns cover the walls is just mesmerizing.

During my visit, I used my Canon EOS 60D with an EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. This setup helped me capture the details clearly. The soft, natural light streaming in added a nice touch, highlighting the textures and depth.

The Alhambra is filled with these fascinating details. Built in the mid-13th century, it served as a royal palace during the period of Muslim rule in Spain. Walking through, it felt almost like stepping back in time.

I love how this photo shows the harmony and complexity of Islamic art. The repeating geometric patterns are not just decorative; they symbolize infinity and the complex beauty of the universe. This view is one of my personal favorites because it really brings those details to life.
