About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I took this photo during my visit to the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It's such an amazing place, filled with rich history and stunning architecture. You can see how the light plays through the intricately designed windows and doors. I love how the patterns cast shadows on the walls and floor, giving the space a magical feel. This particular spot caught my eye because of the way the light filtered in, creating a dance of shadows and highlights. I used my Canon EOS 60D to capture this moment – nothing fancy, just trying to show the beauty of this room. Did you know that the Alhambra was originally a small fortress built in 889 and then rebuilt in the mid-13th century by the Nasrid emir Mohammed ben Al-Ahmar? It's a place where you can really feel the history infused into every corner. Exploring the Alhambra felt like stepping back in time, and I wanted to convey that feeling with this shot. The play of light and shadow reminded me of the blend of art and nature that defines so much of Spanish architecture. It was a great experience just wandering through and taking in all the details.
