About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo inside the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, a fascinating example of Moorish architecture. This particular spot is known for its stunning arches and the serene reflection pool. During my visit, the weather was perfect, and the sunlight brought out the intricate details of the carvings. Alhambra is a place steeped in history, once serving as a royal palace in the 13th century. Walking through, you can almost feel the stories hidden in its walls. People often come here to admire the architecture and the gardens, which are beautifully maintained. Using my Canon EOS 60D, I tried to capture the balance of shadows and light under the arches. I wanted to show how the light dances across the detailed stonework, emphasizing the craftsmanship. It's a place where past and present coexist, and I find that truly special.
