About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I shot this photo in Sankt-Peterburg, Russia, a city known for its rich culture and stunning architecture. You can see the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in the background, which adds a lot of character to the scene. The church is one of the city's most famous landmarks because of its colorful onion domes. I came across this street musician playing his guitar on a small bridge. The way he was so focused on his music caught my eye. It felt like the perfect opportunity to capture a slice of local life, showing how music fills the streets here. I used my Canon EOS 60D with an EF-S17-55mm lens to get a good balance between the subject and the background. The lens allowed me to catch the lively details without overshadowing the musician. This shot isn't just about the music; it’s about the atmosphere and the city’s vibe. It’s a mix of culture and everyday life all in one frame.
