About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I snapped this shot during a trip to Narok County, Kenya. This place is really special because it's home to some unique wildlife, including the rare monkey you see here. Using my Canon EOS 7D and a 100-400mm lens, I managed to catch this guy hanging out in the trees. It’s not every day you spot such a rare monkey, so I felt pretty lucky. The environment here is lush and full of life, which makes it a perfect habitat for diverse animal species. While I was there, I learned that this area is not too far from the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. If you ever visit, it's worth checking out for an unforgettable wildlife experience. This monkey struck me with its contrasting black and white fur, almost as if it knew it was having its photo taken. It’s moments like this that remind me why I love wildlife photography.
