About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I snapped this picture of Rothschild's giraffes while traveling through Narok County in Kenya. This spot is home to some iconic wildlife and offers a glimpse of the savannah in its natural beauty. These giraffes stood still long enough for me to capture them with my Canon EOS 7D and a telephoto lens, which really helped bring them up close without disturbing them. Narok is a special region, known not just for its wildlife but also as the gateway to the famous Maasai Mara. It's surreal seeing these giants roam freely on the vast plains. They are so graceful in their movement, a reminder of how diverse and wonderful nature can be. Spending time here with my camera was such a rewarding experience, and being able to photograph these giraffes felt like a real privilege.
