About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I captured this photo while I was in Narok County, Kenya. It's a special place known for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is home to a diverse range of wildlife. In this shot, you can see a family of elephants strolling through the grasslands, probably enjoying a lazy day out. Using my Canon EOS 7D and a 100-400mm lens, I was able to get a close-up view without disturbing them. Elephants are amazing creatures, and it's always fascinating to watch them interact with each other. This family looks really close-knit, with the little one tucked safely between the adults. Narok is an incredible location for wildlife photography, and moments like these are why I love doing what I do. I didn't need to do much in terms of settings—the natural light was perfect, giving the grass a warm glow and making the elephants stand out beautifully against the backdrop.
