About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo during my visit to Narok County in Kenya. It's a place full of wildlife, and I had the opportunity to capture this vulture as it glided effortlessly against the deep blue sky. I used my Canon EOS 7D with a telephoto lens, which allowed me to get a clear shot without disturbing the bird. Narok County is well-known for its proximity to the Maasai Mara, a haven for birds and other wildlife. This area is a significant site for bird watching, especially during migration seasons. I remember waiting patiently for the perfect moment — watching the vulture circle higher and higher before it finally soared directly above me. There's something fascinating about observing these creatures; they play a crucial role in the ecosystem as nature's clean-up crew, and seeing them in their element was a powerful reminder of nature's balance. The expansive wingspan and sharp gaze of the vulture make for an impressive sight, and I'm glad I could capture this moment to share with others.
