About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I took this photo on a sunny day in Antibes, France. This lovely town is nestled between Cannes and Nice along the French Riviera, known for its old town charm and beautiful beaches. The buildings you see here are typical of the region, with their warm-toned facades and tiled roofs. I like how the wall stretches out along the coast, with the ocean gently washing against it. There were a few yachts anchored nearby, which is pretty common here, given Antibes' reputation as a popular spot for sailing enthusiasts. When I shot this with my Sony DSC-R1, I tried to capture the peaceful vibe of this coastal area. You can almost feel the gentle sea breeze just by looking at the image. Antibes is also known for its Picasso Museum, housed in a medieval castle. It’s a fascinating place if you’re into art or history. While I was there, I enjoyed wandering through the narrow streets and soaking up the Mediterranean atmosphere. It’s easy to see why artists and writers have been drawn to this area over the years. This view is one of my favorites, combining history, architecture, and the sea in one frame.
