About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo during my trip to Granada, Spain. It features the inner courtyard of the Palace of Charles V, a Renaissance building located within the Alhambra complex. The architecture is quite stunning, with its circular design and intricate stonework. I love how the light falls on the columns, creating interesting shadows and highlights. In this shot, I used my Canon EOS 60D and a 24-105mm lens. The wide angle helped capture the grandeur of the space. Despite being built in the 16th century, the place has this timeless feel, probably because it’s surrounded by the rich history of the Alhambra. This area is usually a bit quieter, giving me a moment of peace away from the busy tourist spots. If you’re visiting Granada, the Alhambra is a must-see. The mix of Islamic and Christian architecture is what makes it so unique. Also, fun fact: the Alhambra is one of Spain's major tourist attractions, famous for its stunning Islamic architecture. I hope this shot conveys some of the serenity and enduring beauty of the place.
