About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I captured this photo of the Frauenkirche towers during my trip to Munich, Germany. You can't miss these iconic twin towers—they're visible from all over the city. I used my Canon EOS 7D with a 24-105mm lens to frame this shot. The lighting that night was perfect, giving the brickwork a warm glow against the evening sky. It's interesting that these towers have such a distinctive look; they've become a symbol of Munich. Did you know that the church was completed way back in the 15th century? It has a rich history and these towers were actually designed to be simple due to a lack of funds back then. Yet, their simplicity is what makes them stand out even today. Whenever I'm in Munich, I always make time to see them.
