About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I took this shot during a warm afternoon stroll in the heart of Sevilla, Spain. This picturesque scene unfolded in front of the Seville Cathedral, an iconic landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its stunning Gothic architecture, the cathedral is one of the largest of its kind in the world. The building’s intricate details were quite a sight, standing out beautifully against the clear blue sky. Freshly captured using my Canon EOS 60D, this photo showcases the cathedral’s grandeur and how it quietly watches over the bustling city.

The horse-drawn carriage in the foreground immediately caught my attention. Resting in the shade, the carriage seemed to be taking a break from its usual promenade around the historic streets. These carriages are a common sight here, offering relaxing tours to tourists eager to experience the city from a different perspective.

This spot is in the plaza that connects several major sites of the city, making it a perfect place to pause and soak in the surroundings. To the side, palm trees sway gently, adding to the peaceful vibe. The whole scene felt like stepping back in time, where history and present-day life harmoniously exist.
