About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo during my trip to Sankt-Peterburg, Russia. This is the Neva River, a key part of the city, as it winds through the heart of St. Petersburg. On the left, you can see the iconic Kunstkamera building, which is known for being the first museum in Russia, founded by Peter the Great. I love how the architectural details stand out against the vibrant blue sky. The Rostral Columns in the middle are interesting too; they're classical symbols of naval victory. The spire of the Peter and Paul Fortress peeks in from the right, a reminder of the city's rich history. I used my Canon EOS 60D with an EF-S 17-55mm lens, which helped capture the wide view and show the mix of architectural wonders along the water. The light was just right that day, giving a soft glow to everything around. This spot is a favorite for both locals and tourists, and I think it's easy to see why. It's moments like this that make photography such a joy for me.
