About This PhotoThe Story Behind
This photo is from my visit to Oshino, a small village in Japan. With Mount Fuji as a backdrop, Oshino offers a quaint and picturesque view. I shot this photo using my FUJIFILM X-T5 with an XF16-80mm lens. The day was a bit cloudy, and Mount Fuji was starting to hide behind the clouds. I've noticed that early mornings are better for clear views here. The village was buzzing with tourists, making it a bit tough to walk around. Oshino is known for its traditional charm and beautiful ponds like the one in this photo. The lush greenery and rustic buildings add to its peaceful vibe. If you ever plan to visit, try to come early to enjoy the serene atmosphere and maybe get a clear view of Mount Fuji before the crowds roll in.
