About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I shot this photo during my trip to Sankt-Peterburg, Russia. This is the famous Peterhof Palace, often called the 'Russian Versailles.' You can see how grand it looks with the fountains leading up to it. The palace is located about 30 kilometers from the city center in a place full of history and beauty. It's known for its stunning gardens and the amazing Grand Cascade, which is visible in this shot. There’s something magical about how the fountains line up with the palace. I used my Canon EOS 7D to capture this shot, aiming to get that alignment just right. It was a bright and clear day, which helped to highlight the vibrant colors of the palace and gardens. Visiting Peterhof is like stepping back in time, surrounded by incredible architecture and landscape design. This place is a favorite for both locals and tourists, and for a good reason.
