About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo during my trip to Bratislava, Slovakia. This is St. Martin's Cathedral, an iconic landmark located in the heart of the city. You might find it interesting that this cathedral was once the coronation church for the Kingdom of Hungary, where 19 Hungarian kings and queens were crowned. I used my Canon EOS 7D with an EF-S17-55mm lens to capture this shot. The lens was perfect for capturing the intricate details and the grandeur of the architecture with its wide angle. The cathedral stands out with its distinct Gothic architecture and a turquoise roof. As I walked around, the historical vibes of the place really caught my attention. I especially liked how the cobblestones and surrounding greenery complemented the aged façade of the building, giving it a timeless look. Taking photos here made me feel like a part of history, standing on the grounds where so many significant events took place.
