About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I snapped this photo during my trip to Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, which most of us know as Bangkok, Thailand. This bustling nighttime scene captures tuk-tuks lined up under the glow of city lights. I was standing near the famous shopping malls in the area, where traffic is always quite lively. The bright lights and vibrant colors really bring out the city's energy.

While using my Canon EOS 7D, coupled with an EF-S17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens, I could effectively capture the street's busy essence. The tuk-tuks, with their colorful lights and chrome, were a sight to behold. They are such a quintessential part of Bangkok's daily life. People often use them for short distances since they're quick and can weave through traffic better than regular cars.

The bridge that you see in the background is a pedestrian overpass, common in Bangkok, providing a great way for people to navigate the busy roads. Above, the glow of the buildings adds that distinct urban vibe to the scene. I've always been fascinated by how the city's modern skyline blends with its local transit culture. It's something truly unique to Bangkok.

This photo is just a small glimpse into what makes the city so special to me. The energy, the chaos, and the charm all wrapped up in one moment under the night sky.
