About This PhotoThe Story Behind

I snapped this photo during my trip to Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, also known as Bangkok, which is a vibrant city with a never-ending buzz of activity. The tuk-tuk—a three-wheeled vehicle you see here—is the quintessential symbol of Thailand's bustling streets. I used my Canon EOS 7D to capture this moment of a tuk-tuk speeding past, with a lens that allowed me to highlight its movement with a beautiful blur in the background. This technique helps convey the fast-paced life in Bangkok, where these vehicles zip through traffic, often carrying locals and tourists alike. It's fascinating how these little vehicles manage to weave through the busy streets so effortlessly. One fun fact about Bangkok is that its full name holds the Guinness World Record for the longest place name in the world! I love how this photo captures the dynamic movement that is so characteristic of this city. The colors are vibrant, reflecting the life and energy of the streets. This shot was taken while standing on the side of a busy road, trying to time the motion just right with a slow shutter speed. It wasn't easy with the city lights and rapid movement, but I think it turned out pretty cool.
