About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I shot this during a trip to Narok County, Kenya, a place known for its stunning wildlife. Among the many amazing sights, this cheetah stood out. It's perched on a small mound, looking off into the distance, perhaps eyeing its next move. The spot pattern on its coat is so distinct, you can see why they blend into the savannah so easily.
Using my Canon EOS 7D and a 100-400mm lens, I was able to capture this moment without disturbing the animal. I love how the lens brings out the details in the cheetah's coat and the serene expression on its face. It's fascinating to see these animals in their natural habitat.
Narok County is a gateway to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, which is famous for the Great Migration. It's thrilling to be in a place with such rich wildlife diversity. If you're ever in Kenya, visiting this area is a must. You'll be amazed by what the land has to offer. Just watching the cheetahs roam free like this is an unforgettable experience.
