About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo while exploring Narok County in Kenya. Watching this crocodile sunbathing by the river was quite the sight. The area is rich with wildlife, and this croc was just chilling on a warm afternoon. Using my Canon EOS 7D with a 100-400mm lens, I was able to capture this moment from a safe distance. Narok County is a gateway to the great Maasai Mara, known for its amazing wildlife, and it's always a thrill to spot creatures both big and small. The crocodile here seemed completely at ease, soaking up the sun's rays while the river gently flowed beside it. It's fascinating how these creatures blend into their surroundings so seamlessly. I love how the texture of its skin stands out against the sandy riverbank. Moments like this remind me why I love photographing wildlife in their natural habitats. It's a peaceful yet powerful scene, with the croc looking like it hasn't a care in the world.
