About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo in the beautiful city of Gent, Belgium. The night was calm, and the city's historic architecture was bathed in a soft glow. You can see how the old buildings look against the deep blue sky. I used my Canon EOS 7D for this shot, which helped me capture the details in the dim light. The EF24-105mm lens kept things nice and sharp, even in the low light. To the left, there's an impressive church tower. I think it's the Saint Nicholas' Church, an iconic piece of Gent's skyline. The street lamps add a warm glow to the cobblestones, which I loved. It felt like stepping back in time. If you ever visit Gent, you'll notice that it's a city with a real mix of history and modern life coming together. Taking photos here is always a pleasure because of the unique atmosphere. I really enjoy walking around this area at night, with fewer people around, the city feels all yours.
