I took this photograph of a very old wooden mosque near Kadikoy in the Edremit region, capturing its unique charm just before it was sadly demolished. The rustic architecture of the mosque stands in stark contrast with the vibrant green landscape surrounding it, offering a picturesque glimpse into a bygone era. In the foreground, scattered wooden wheels add a touch of nostalgia, hinting at the history and stories that once filled this place. The cloudy sky above creates a dramatic backdrop, enhancing the overall mood of the scene. Although this mosque no longer exists, I cherish this photograph as it allows me to remember and relive the quiet beauty of the setting.
