About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I took this photo in Lisbon, Portugal, capturing one of the city’s famous Remodelado trams. These trams have been a staple of Lisbon's streets since the 1930s. They're quite charming and take you through some scenic routes in the city. The shot was taken on a sunny day, highlighting this vibrant yellow tram as it makes its way through the narrow streets. I'm particularly fond of how these trams give such a nostalgic feel mixed with the hustle and bustle of a modern city. The backdrop with its classic architecture enhances this feeling. Using my SONY DSC-R1, I aimed to focus on the tram to capture its details while having a slightly blurred background to emphasize motion and life on the streets. These trams are not just for tourists; they're a part of daily life here, connecting different neighborhoods. If you ever get a chance, take a ride on Route 28. It’s a fantastic way to see the city’s sights.
