About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I shot this photo during my trip to Alaska, specifically around the area with the coordinates 57.890858, -133.353638. The location is known for its stunning mountain views, and I wanted to capture this sense of majesty. You can see how the snow still clings to the peaks even as the summer starts to take hold. Shooting with my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and a 24-105mm lens allowed me to bring out the rich textures of the snow and the greenery below. This spot is a great example of the untouched beauty that Alaska is famous for. It feels like the mountains stretch on forever, with the clouds adding a dramatic touch to the open sky. It's a place where you can really appreciate the scale of nature. I was lucky to get such clear weather which perfectly highlighted the landscape.
