About This PhotoThe Story Behind
I shot this photo while exploring Nakuru County in Kenya. Nakuru is an amazing place with lots of wildlife, and it's famous for its beautiful landscapes. In this shot, you can see two waterbucks. These animals are quite common in this region, usually seen near water. What caught my eye was the way one of them seemed to look directly at me, almost as if it was curious about what I was doing. I used my Canon EOS 7D and a 100-400mm lens, which let me capture the expressions on the waterbuck's face without getting too close and disturbing them. I love how the sunlight catches the fur, giving it a warm glow that contrasts with the green backdrop of the plants around them. It's always fascinating to capture moments like this in nature, where animals seem to have their own personalities.
