White Heron In Flight

I shot this photo during my trip to Nakuru County in Kenya. It's a place that's just full of natural beauty, and Lake Nakuru is famous for its stunning birdlife. This particular shot is of a white heron gracefully flying over the lake. Using my Canon EOS 7D with a 100-400mm lens, I managed to get pretty close without disturbing its flight. Watching these birds move so effortlessly is one of the highlights of my travels. What struck me was how the light caught the heron’s wings, making them almost glow against the deep blue of the water. In Nakuru, these moments come often, but they never lose their magic.
