Torii Gate at Meiji Shrine

I took this photo during my visit to Shibuya, Japan. It's of the 'Kitasando Torii', marking the entrance to a garden that leads to the Meiji Shrine. The shrine itself is an important cultural spot in Japan, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. Walking under this large wooden gate gives a special feeling, as it's like stepping back in time. The whole area is surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel peaceful despite being in the heart of Tokyo. I used my FUJIFILM X-T5 for this shot, and the XF16-80mmF4 lens was perfect for capturing the grandeur of the gate while maintaining the vibrant colors of the surroundings. The Meiji Shrine is known for its beautiful Shinto architecture and is a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. It's interesting to note that the shrine was originally completed in 1920, and since then, it has been a serene place where people come to pray and reflect. I love how this gate frames the pathway, inviting visitors to explore more.
